Ron's music has been described as passionate and inventive. He uses the tools of all art music, often in a polytonal setting. He explores unusual scales and harmonies, welding them to create a unique voice that demands to be heard.
He speaks from the landscape and experience of Canada and speaks for the ignored and forgotten.
